Seiko Boutique Totonto GTG
With Joel preparing to return home from Basel soon, I reminded myself I should post more about the recent get-together in Toronto sponsored by Timezone, Seiko Boutique Toronto, and Odyssey Time.
Having only taken my point-and-click with me, and knowing my photography skills are relatively poor compared to a lot of WIS people
Joel kindly agreed to let me borrow his photos, which he has posted on TimeZone along with a few short notes of his own.

Although the star of the evening was certainly the SpaceWalk, there were other watches I definitely enjoyed seeing, along with some personal surprises for me.
The first surprise was the Galante line. I’ve not been impressed with the look of this in marketing collateral or online images, but in person I had to retract that thought – quite a lot more masculine, very noticeable, and an enjoyable watch to wear. Not for everyone, it’s got some real height as well as presence, not subtle like the GS line. But definitely worth visiting the Boutique and trying in person.

And of course several GS were in attendance, this was my favorite of the evening, a black dialed GMT model.

Last but certainly not least, the people – event enjoyed by all!
