With many thanks to an online friend, I’ve had another CW for the last 2 weeks now, this one a steel/black/black version of their C8 pilot watch. Quick post, sharing some of his pictures.

Basic specs – ETA 2824-2 hacking automatic movement (25 jewels, standard 28,800 vph), date (no day), sapphire crystal, soft iron anti-magnetic internal casing and dial, small rear viewing window over the balance wheel, stitched and studded thick leather strap, deployment clasp, 50m water resistance.

You’ll notice the interesting robin’s egg blue on the hour marks and central part of the seconds hand, as well as a blue & red (very “RAF”) pip.

At 44mm, this now is one of my larger watches. Sharing another pic, this one comparing the size of the C8 (behind) to a C5 Malvern at 38 mm. Those 6 mm make a real difference!
