Truth is, at $595, I considered it a bargain, and at around 40mm, it's big enough for my tastes. I got a worthwhile discount from the guys, (though not half!), so I can't complain. I've made purchases at events of things I've not seen before, rather than worry about researching it later and possibly not finding what I wanted or having to special order it ... the whole "bird in a hand versus two in the bush" idea. I was surprised to see this particular watch at Fargo, I didn't expect to and only found out by accident when trying to find a good quality image to use of it!
